Team Adrenaline![]() Team Leaders Darrin Austin Team Founder I can hurl tennis rackets at small moving objects with deadly accuracy. I once read Paradise Lost, Moby Dick and David Copperfield in one day and still had time to refurbish an entire dining room that evening. I know the exact location of every food item in the supermarket. I have performed several covert operations for the CIA. I sleep once a week; when I do sleep, I sleep in a chair. While on vacation in Canada I successfully negotiated with a group of terrorists who has seized a small bakery. The laws of physics do not apply to me. Darrin Permentor Team Captain and Trainer

I am a dynamic figure, often seen scaling walls and crushing ice. I have been known to remodel train stations on my lunch breaks, making them more efficient in the area of heat retention. I translate ethnic slurs for Cuban refugees, I write award-winning operas, I manage time efficiently. Occasionally, I tread water for three days in a row.
Don Blattert
I woo women with my sensuous and godlike trombone playing, I can pilot bicycles up severe inclines with unflagging speed, and I cook Thirty-Minute brownies in twenty minutes. I am an expert in stucco, a veteran in love, and an outlaw in Peru. Prior to Mountain Biking I was a famous figure from the village people who wore Tight Black Leather, Now I'm known for my Podium appearances in Tight Spandex. (View Pictures)

James Robinson
Jay started racing mountain bikes in 1995 while living in El Paso, TX. Over the past 13 years he has had multiple wins and podium appearances in both cross country and downhill disciplines while racing in NC, TX, NM, AZ, CA and Chihuahua, MX. In 1999 he moved to Austin, TX and while manager for one of the largest bicycle shops in TX started road racing to supplement his mountain bike training. By 2001 he had moved up to Cat 3 while riding for the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s “Live to Ride” team. The same year he took second overall in the Texas Mountain Bike Championship Series (TXBRA). Fast forward to 2008, he had several podium finishes in both road and MTB races at the Cat 3 and Expert level. For 2009, it’s all about staying true to his roots and he has his eye on the Arizona State Mountain Bike Championship and plans on doing 24 hour and endurance events. Using only a hoe and a large glass of water, I once single-handedly defended a small village in the Amazon Basin from a horde of ferocious army ants. I play bluegrass cello, I was scouted by the Mets, I am the subject of numerous documentaries. When I'm bored, I build large suspension bridges in my yard. I enjoy urban hang gliding. On Wednesdays, after school, I repair electrical appliances free of charge.
Tom Ament 08 Single Speed State Champion I was inspired by Forrest Gump to quit my job and ride my bike for three months straight. I balanced, I weaved, I dodged, I frolicked, and all my bills were paid. On weekends, to let off steam, I participated in full-contact origami. Years ago I discovered the meaning of life, but forgot to write it down. I have made extraordinary four course meals using only a mouli and a toaster oven. I breed prize-winning clams. I have won bullfights in San Juan , cliff-diving competitions in Sri Lanka and spelling bees at the Kremlin. I have performed open-heart surgery, I have played Hamlet and I have spoken with Elvis. I like to ride my little bicycle>>> It makes me happy... Tom O’brien Missed the last race to Qualify for the 08 Extera World Championships
